Meadowsweet is a native flowering plant that grows naturally in moist meadows.  Used for centuries in bridal bouquets it’s been said to bring joy and blessings to the bride.  Traditionally, meadowsweet was strewn in front of a bride to scent the air with that fragrance believed to cheer the heart. The fresh plant has been used for altar decorations and dried, used for love potions.
