Every bride envisions her ceremony to be uniquely beautiful and the fulfillment of a lifetime of dreams.  Our journey together begins with an appointment, at your home, to explore your specific design ideas and flower preferences.  As lead designer, I personally visit the local, family-owned farms we use to see the flowers actually growing in the fields and greenhouses.  Your design concepts will be brought to the growers so we can match the colors and personalities of the flowers to be a perfect fit for your wedding.  Because our flowers are locally-sourced, within 50 miles, their freshness is unmatched and chemicals are not used to preserve them for airplane flights and crossing countries’ borders.  Pictures from the flower fields and other Meadowsweet weddings will be used to identify your exact needs.   After agreeing on those needs, an estimate for your work will be delivered.

Our flowers are freshly picked only a few days prior to your wedding date. This is a vastly different process than for most commercial florists where flowers are shipped from overseas and cut weeks in advance.   I believe designing flowers is an art and that process starts with the individual flowers and personal desires of the bride. Your wedding bouquets will be designed by the same person who met with you, hand-picked your flowers, and guided you through this special process guaranteeing a service personalized for you. Once the flowers are designed they are delivered and presented with love. It will be a privilege to play a part in your wedding day.
