Our lead designer was professionally trained as a florist while attending Rutgers University and majoring in ornamental horticulture.  After graduating from college she was a designer in a high end flower shop in Washington DC, near The White House.  There she created floral pieces for senators, business people, and even the vice president’s children.  After moving to the New York metropolitan area, she continued her floral work in a florist that was known for it’s outstanding wedding work.  Heidi also worked at Longwood Gardens designing flowers for dinners, their Christmas extravaganza, and notables such as Broadway star, Patti LuPone.  As an extension to her floral work, she learned landscape design and uses those skills to enhance a wedding scene.
